  • The MTC in New York is looking for a technical sales professional with deep and broad technology experience as well as strong solution selling skills
  • In this role, you will work with business and technical decision makers from Microsoft enterprise accounts as well as Microsoft partners and Microsoft account teams
  • You will focus on leading Strategy Briefings, Architecture Design Sessions (ADSs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs), helping enterprise customers identify and articulate the business opportunity, propose and validate solution architectures, and transfer knowledge on best practices through interactive whiteboarding sessions and hands-on delivery
  • The successful candidate will have deep enterprise development experience, including in-depth, hands-on knowledge of Transact-SQL development, Business Intelligence solutions, and OLTP/OLAP architectures
  • Experience with enterprise integration, enterprise portals, or enterprise databases is also required
  • Hands-on competitive experience, particularly with Oracle, DB2, J2EE, Linux, or Tibco is a definite plus
  • A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including a technical sales background is strongly preferred
  • The position requires a commitment to customer and partner experience (CPE), including internal customers, the ability to thrive in a virtual team environment, and strong communication and presentation skills
  • The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of opportunities, works independently, manages multiple simultaneous projects, and deals well with ambiguity and last-minute changes
  • The candidate needs to have the ability and passion necessary to maintain technical excellence with emerging technologies, including competitive technologies, while continuing to manage customer opportunities
