Banner Health, Arizona's largest non-profit healthcare provider based in Phoenix, Arizona has an opportunity for an experienced I/T Systems Engineer for wireless support for the NextGen Enterprise Computer Systems team
This position can be based at our Eastern or Western offices in Mesa, AZ, Colorado.This position is an expert that demonstrates technical knowledge of infrastructure and communications processes and supports system defined objectives relative to the company's business and healthcare requirements. Interacts as part of a team, leading small sized projects and is able to plan, design, implement and support all company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications Seeking: Good technical understanding of PC and LAN/WAN technology
Three years experience with Novell NetWare/Microsoft NT NOS
Certified Netware Administrator (CNA) certification required, or equivalent on the job experience
Familiar with TCP/IP IPX , SNA and Voice communications systems

Good technical understanding of Enterprise Data information technology

Experience in development and implementation plans, policies and procedures for LAN and WAN installation and operation

Experience in working with teams of professional and technical staff

Ability to analyze, interpret, summarize and report research findings

Good communication and writing skills

Good project management and implementation skills

Demonstrates good analytical skills and the ability to translate concepts into implementation strategies

Good understanding of network electronics and network protocols (i

Must possess a strong knowledge of technology as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Must also have 4-6 years experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience
Must demonstrate general knowledge of information technology and healthcare
Needs experience in small scale project planning and reporting either individual or team
Requires communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences
Requires ability to communicate, and interact across facilities and at various levels
Incumbent will have skills to mentor less experienced team members
As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required
Library offers computer classes (Casper Journal) Natrona County Public Library offers basic computer classes monthly to help people navigate the computer, the Internet and basic programs, such as Microsoft Word.
