  • Conforming to Scrum methodologies, a Senior Developer works without direct supervision to apply analysis, programming, data access/retrieval and problem solving skills to address assignments and issues
  • A Senior Developer participates in the architecture, design and refactoring of our software, provides high-level or detailed time estimates for development tasks, assists their team with workload planning and tracking team accomplishments, and is responsible for organizing, prioritizing and implementing their personal workload.·         30% of the position involves designing, coding, documenting, and testing the Software based on specifications and conforming to the Scrum methodologies.  Components include, but are not limited to: Datapages (dynamic web pages), SQL scripts, Active Reports, Business Objects and Custom Web Controls ·         10% of the position involves working closely with Business Analysts to identify and analyze technology needs and problems; attending/facilitating fact gathering sessions, analyzing problems for pieces of the application; solving problems with minimal assistance
  • ·         10% of the position involves continuous improving, refactoring, benchmarking & performance tuning, leveraging industry available tools, coding templates and developing & following best practices
  • ·         10% of the position involves assisting other teams as needed to complete a release and maintain the quality of the system and documentation
  •   In addition to the responsibilities listed above, work with other teams may include assisting with workload planning, facilitating, QA testing, developing database changes, updating specifications, troubleshooting help desk items and working directly with clients to resolve issues
  • ·         5% of the position involves actively participating as a member of a small, cross-functional, integrated development team
  •   Team activities include but are not limited to: workload planning, estimating, and developing detailed plans, tracking accomplishments, participating in team meetings and status reporting
  •   May also include acting as team representative
