Job Description Description: Great opportunity to develop solutions with exciting GIS technology! This candidate will be a Software Developer on a Geographic Information Systems (GIS)-based project, developing advanced mission planning applications that incorporate terrain effects
Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Must be proficient with Object Oriented software development in Microsoft .NET and/or Java, with a preference for experience in both Should be experienced with COTS, GOTS and Custom Software integration and development
Experience with Scrum/Agile processes is a plus
Excellent communicator who enjoys working in a team environment
Enthusiastic candidates who enjoy solving challenging problems are encouraged to apply! Bachelor s degree in computer sciences/engineering or related field
9+ years experience in software application design, development, integration and operations
Strong experience and knowledge of C# and/or Java is required
Experience developing in Windows is required
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Spring, and xUnit (JUnit, NUnit) experience is preferred
Domain experience with Web Services and server design, development, and integration is also preferred
Experience with developing applications using ESRI ArcObjects is preferred
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software is a plus
Experience with Agile software development processes, is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Must have a Secret Clearance or able to obtain one
